Stay here a few times.The rooms were cold and when we asked owner to turn heat up he was so rude.The bathroom is ice cold and mold in the showers.Bugs were crawling on the ceiling .There is a much better place down the road for the same price.

This place is very nice and nothing to complain about, the owners are very friendly and all the reviews that are negative about hillside motel is in Texas. Connecticut hill side motel is very clean

I've been staying here for 25 to 30 years that person Chris Plotner is wrong there's no bugs..... And definitely no bed bugs... I'd love to see Chris Potheads stupid house. What a jerk. Again there are no bugs. Except outside where if you're Fly fisherman there's plenty of mayflies and caddisflies and all other kinds of flies.

The rooms may not be fancy, but they are very clean. Perhaps a bit outdated, but the most important issue is their clean rooms. Close to many nice restaurants, and to out door activities. Only about 15 miles from Hartford, Ct. Lovely …

This not a lux motel, but you will not feel more welcome anywhere. Edison, the owner, goes out of his way to make you feel like you are at home. Rooms are a bit snug, but are clean,with fresh linens , new beds and carpeting. Everything works as expected. Oh ya, did I mention it's in an area of lovely little towns and villages Price is Right making this a true super value. Paddlers are especially welcome with the Farmington River Less than a half mile away.

Perfect as an easy, inexpensive, and quiet motel. The owners are fantastic and the rooms are very clean. I've used this motel several times over the past few years and have never had a problem of any sort. I highly recommend it.

I've stayed here several times on the past month or so. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had enough experiences here to give an honest review. The rooms are small, but extremely clean and cozy. The man with whom I booked the room (all 3 times) was personable, friendly, funny and all in all very welcoming. This motel is a clean, quiet, restful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding cities (several within 15 minutes). Also, it happens to be located smack dab in the middle of some of the best fishing locations in Connecticut.

Great little tucked away spot with Great service and good location if private is what you are looking for. Room was clean and price was extreamly reasonable. Great extended rates 👌 and they let my large dog stay! Recommended if you are traveling through the area
